Chinese Tea - Recipes 1
Important! The proper use of Therapeutic Tea.
Tea leaves should not be soaked or boiled for more than 10 - 20 minutes, except for some ingredients. Over-cooked tea will become bitter with an unpleasant aroma.
- Strong tea should not be taken on an empty stomach because its stimulation may cause "drunk-like" symptoms.
- Tea shouldn't be taken before meals because it dilutes the hydrochloric acid, and digestion will be affected. Tea taken right after meals may interfere with protein absorption.
- Drinking very hot tea may cause gastric membrane damage. Cold tea may upset the normal functions of the stomach.
- Over-night tea may cultivate germs. Always drink fresh tea.
- Don't use tea for taking your medications. Tea usually is slightly alkaline and may neutralize the medication's effects.
- Don't use the special recipes if you cannot determine what is wrong with your body. See your doctor.
