Contraindications
Chinese Massage is a total hands-on technique that requires time and practice to learn and master the regulation of appropriate pressure and stimulation when applied to a real people. It is advised that you learn one technique at a time, and practice on yourself, then on other family members and friends. You should also consider taking some courses to become familiar with the basic skills.
Simple diagnosis: Examine the area(s) you intend to massage by using your thumb or index finger, moving in circular motions, or moving left to right and right to left. Try to find some tender, sore, tight, knotted or swollen spots. These will give some general information about your client's skin, muscle, tendon and ligament conditions.
