Upon the dorsal surface of the hand, behind the 2nd & 3rd fingers

*GB:21

Place the left hand on the right shoulder naturally; the middle finger is on GB:21.

*GB:20

The two depressions behind the neck, below the mastoid.

Instructions:

1.

Apply 3 sets of pressure on points HG:8X & GB:21 (don't apply heavy pressure, which may cause pain and coughing symptoms), and massage the shoulder areas for 1-2 minutes.

2.

Apply the same to GB:20. Use Continuing Pressure on all Trigger Points for 3 minutes.

Suggestion:

Use hot compresses on the neck and shoulder regions for 15 minutes. Use suitable or soft pillows at night.

Located at the edge of the flexure of the elbow, before the epicondyle

*ST:7

Located before the ear, under the zygomatic arch in front of the condyle of the mandible, in the hollow formed upon opening the mouth

*ST:6

Located at the angle of the mandible between the insertions of the massetor muscles

Instructions:

1.

Usually CO:4 is the most effective point for toothaches. Apply Continuing Pressure on the right hand point if the toothache is on the left side of the face. The toothache should subside within 20 seconds.

2.

In severe toothache conditions, please follow the formula as above. Apply a few sets of pressure on each point until the pain is gone.

Suggestions:

1.

Proper daily oral hygiene.

2.

Consult dentist for cavities.

Apply 3 sets of pressure eon point CO:15 and follow with 15 mins of hot compress on the shoulder region.

2.

Apply 3 sets of pressure on points SI:9 & GB:21.

In severe cases, combine CO:4 or CO:11.

4.

Always keep the shoulder areas warm and covered in cold weather and air-conditioned offices.

3 body-inches below the knee cap

Instructions:

1.

Apply 3 sets of pressure to points VG:4 & SP:6, then massage each point with your finger for 1 minute.

2.

Use one Assistant point each day with the Key points.

3.

Or use all Key points for the even days, and the Assistant points for the odd days.

4.

Consult your physician no matter how the condition develops.


Wrist Pain

Located in the centre of the dorsal surface of the wrist

Located on the dorsal surface of the wrist, in the middle of the crease, between the two tendons

A depression between the two tendons, behind the thumb

*HT:7

Located on the forearm, on the cubital artery at the flexure of the wrist

Instructions:

1.

Apply Continuing, firm pressure on points SJ:4 and HG:7 for 1-2 minutes. Do passive exercises at the same time.

2.

Apply 3 sets of pressure to CO:5 and HT:7

Suggestions: Wear an elastic bandage or protector until the pain goes away.
